February is dental health month, and we have come up with a few projects for your classroom.
Students will race each other through the tooth game board to be the first to reach the end! The game board path includes 32 teeth to represent the number of teeth in an adult mouth. If the student lands on a “smile” sticker, they go ahead one space. If they land on the “I lost a tooth” sticker, they go back one space. The first one to the end of the game, gets to choose which Learn to Read book they get to read.

How To: Create the game board with construction paper, your favorite border (the Lime Green Chevron is used here), and tooth stickers. Provide dice and markers to move through the game. We used tooth shaped erasers for game pieces. Add in a Stick Kid for a fun look for your game board.
