Fall Into Contractions

I love Fall, and when I saw these Harvest Designer Cut-Outs from Creative Teaching Press I knew they would be perfect for our review of contractions.  I used Black Dot-to-Dot Lowercase Letter Stickers instead of writing the contractions and combinations of words.  Using stickers is a great way to keep your words legible and to have your station materials look neat and professional (not to mention it keeps me from cringing at my handwriting).

I put the harvest contraction materials in a basket and added it to my Word Work station. My students loved it and it made the tedious task of matching words fun and seasonally themed!

I cut the corn cut-outs to separate the contraction from the word combinations…easy, right?

Happy Fall!
